2009 HOME AND HERITAGE
CHAIRPERSON: Ruthie Pe’Vey Kneupper PURPOSE: To preserve and celebrate the skills and crafts practiced by our agricultural heritage for present and future generations. Committee divisions include Agriculture; Antiques and Heirlooms; Arts and Photography; Baking; Canning and Food Preservation; Handcrafts and Woodworking; Handwork, Sewing and Clothing Design; Horticulture; School/Group Projects. EXHIBIT HALL HOURS: DISCLAIMER: The Comal County Fair Association and its volunteer committee workers and chairpersons are not responsible for loss or damage of any entries. Please remember that entering exhibits in the Comal County Fair is at your own risk. READ ALL RULES FOR EXHIBITS CAREFULLY SO YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED BY HAVING A DISPLAY ITEM OR EXHIBIT REJECTED. WINNERS PICTURES: Pictures of winners in all of the above divisions will be taken on Saturday, Sept. 26, according to the following schedule. Pictures are taken in the respective exhibit areas. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your pictures are scheduled so you can fill out information for the newspaper. Please be patient with the photographer as actual photo times may be adjusted slightly. If you cannot be present for your winner’s picture, please have a friend or family member take the picture in your place. Winners’ pictures are taken of tri-color and trophy winners only.
