Master Garden

Visit the Comal Master Gardner’s Booth at the Comal County Fair and learn about gardening practices for our area.

Hours

Materials and information will be available on such topics as Rain Water Collection, Propagation, Butterfly and Hummingbird Plants, Deer Resistant Plants, Common Herbs for South Texas, and many more.

You will be able to purchase a copy of the Vegetable Gardener and/or the Comal County Gardening Guide books by the Comal Master Gardener Association sponsored by Texas Agrilife Extension Service. Master Gardner’s will be available to answer questions and provide valuable information. As long as the supply last there will be a selection of seeds as well as plants that will be given away free.

The Gardening exhibiting is located at the Gardens by the Fair Entrance off of Grant Street.This is directly in front of the livestock barns.
