16th Annual CCFA Mutton Bustin’ Blowout
Sept 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Rodeo arena
Maximum participants allowed will be 150.
FEE: $50.00
Spectator admission fee: $2.00
Rules:
- 1.Maximum weight 65 pounds (weigh in at check in)
- 2.Minimum weight 30 pounds
- 3.Ages 3 to 10
- 4.Long sleeves required
- 5.Must wear pants
- 6.Closed toed shoes
- 7.Must wear helmet and vest provided by CCFA
- 8.No ropes, gloves, chaps, or spurs allowed
- 9.No hats

- Ages 5 - 6
- Ages 7 – 8
- Ages 9-10
Awards:
- Buckle to overall
Champion
- Trophy to 1st place in
each division

Check in:
Check in at 4:00pm. Must
be checked in by 4:30pm or contestant will be ineligible to ride.
NO EXCEPTIONS. Check in will be next to rodeo gate entrance directly behind the fair office. Participant
must be in long sleeves, pants and closed toed shoes at check in time. If not
in proper attire contestant will not be eligible to ride. NO spurs, chaps, ropes,
or gloves will be allowed. Please remove hats before line up. CCFA will not be
responsible for any missing items.
Re-rides will be at the
discretion of the judges.
NO PARENTS behind chutes.
If parent comes behind chutes, child will be disqualified.
However, if you would like to volunteer to help with the entire event, please
contact Poleste Thompson at 512-665-4247 by September 1.
Top 10 from each age division from blowout will
qualify to ride during the CCFA Rodeo the following week. The child must ride at the blowout to qualify to ride during the rodeo. Night to ride will be a draw out of the hat. If they qualify and
ride at the rodeo, there will be an additional entry fee.
